Contemporary Responses to New Topographics

This article describes a 'show' that has a direct lineage to the original exhibition from 1975, not only that but GPS as tool forms some of the show's exhibits.

The Gallery that showed the work. Sam Lee Gallery, has a small online exhibition for the show that was entitled 'Locating Landscape'.

This, sentence, on a collector's blog surpises me.

"Collector's POV: Prior to this show, we knew nothing about the work of Ray Mortenson."

Books figure very highly in my creative output and inspiration, and while I had to 'think' about the name, I recognised it eventually, which I then confirmed by checking my library.
