It's a good article.....thanks for linking. I guess flickr just got too big and successful to retain their integrity. I agree, it all feels like it's coming apart at the seams. On the user side it's been going downhill for me ever since all these award groups started coming up.

Oh, anything my Microsoft, VHS, the internal combustion engine, cows milk, on and on it goes.

oh yeah I know all about those inferior products just look at photoshop *gah*

Oh it'll carry on growing, a million new accounts a month or something ridiculous like that, still with its superstars and its sunsets.

Yahoogroups is the same, a terrible service, but omnipotent.

And while the money keeps rolling in by the truckload, who's going to care? It won't be the first time a vastly inferior product comes to dominate a market.
